Even though I sent out paper holiday cards this year (which is so not my thing, you guys — so adult!), and even though I spent a lot of time searching for my favorite photo cards for Babble.com, I have a little secret:
I kind of prefer e-cards!
Not just because they’re more convenient, but because there are some amazing designs out there. These are all from Paperless Post’s Mr. Boddington’s Nephew collection. And I love them.
Oh, and did I mention they’re free (or very low cost)? You’re looking at $100+ for snail mail cards. I love paper + card stock as much as the next, but that’s a lot of money.
Take a look at my FAVORITE holiday e-cards over on Babble.com.
What about you? Did you mail out holiday cards this year? Do you go the paperless route? Do you skip the holiday greetings altogether?

I never really thought about doing ecards. It does make a lot more sense cost wise etc.
but I just LOVE getting christmas cards and Christmas letters in the mail, and love the “adultness” of sending them out every year. It’s definately one area I splurge and make it happen every year. and it’s a great excuse to get yearly family photos done, which my hubby has agreed to the past 2 years!! I think now he just assumes it’s a normal part of life that he will just have to endure forever.
yay!!!
so in short. I love sending cards via snail mail (and getting them) and I don’t think we will ever stop. It’s just way too fun! I always hang the ones I get on our fridge for the year which is a nice way to display pics of friends/family without taking up wallspace
