I found this blog Lay Baby Lay, and it’s full of inspirational style boards, free downloads and DIY projects. I love the idea, since I usually find so many lovely nursery pieces but have a hard time piecing the themes together. If you’re starting out, it’s a good first step to get an idea of color schemes and furniture types, and then use her style boards as a jumping off point.

(I’ve always loved the idea of a “little gentleman’s nursery” — complete with mustaches, bowler hats and Mad Man-eqsue decor — but it just doesn’t fit my son’s personality.)
