Since “early” parents typically don’t have as much money socked away as “later” parents (although that isn’t always the case), and considering we still want to retain a sense of style, I was shocked at how many affordable cribs are on-trend with the pricier designer cribs.

great post!! i, too, wish i would have known all of this 3 years ago but we went with the $99 Ikea crib and we do love it. of course i see all the beautiful options you listed above and long for a new crib! loving your blog. thank you!

i so love the stairs , omg that is souch a cool idea for me to do something neato and groovy in my house, and what i would not five for a crib like one of these , my grandkids whom i havve custody of , are young and gosh they dont make things the way they did back in the 80′s when i first has my kids, the times are a changing

Oh my gosh, we so have the same taste.
Of course now you make me REALLY want that green one! Maybe I just need to find a can of paint.
