The most amazing part of motherhood has been watching him watch his brand new world.
Finding excitement in the moments, the activities, you forgot you used to love.
Always curious. Always discovering.
Always exploring.
Dancing with shadows.
Kissing new friends.

Beautiful! My Great-Grandson!!!!
I can relate, I love this age, I have a 14 month old and watching him explore, discover and wonder at new things it’s priceless. Your boy is adorable!
These photos are incredible! All this just gets better as our children get older–the questions and observations of a three year-old never cease to amaze me.
Thanks, Caitlin! These photos are from last summer, actually, I was just reminiscing through my photos. He’s starting to talk in full sentences and hold conversations and sing entire songs — every day is like a giant jump in vocabulary. It’s nothing short of astounding. And also making me think it might be time for #2..
Michelle, NUMBER TWO, NUMBER TWO
Micah sang the Barney I love you song to my stomach last night. Enough said
That is SO CUTE! What is there a 4-year age gap between them? I think that’s what’s going to happen with us too — if I can get pregnant as soon as I want to. I really don’t want to wait much longer than 4 years apart. Either way, I’m pretty sure it will happen eventually. I can’t see Noah as an only child.
If you decide to have another, just wait until you see him with his new brother/sister. It is SO fun to watch siblings interact. My older two (5 and almost 3) share a room and they crack me up. I love, love, love to listen to them talk to each other, make up stories, sing songs and crack each other up. It’s reason enough to have more than one kid.
Ah, that melted my heart Claire. We’ve been talking about it more and more. I really want Noah to have a sibling soon!
My 2 1/2 year old has really entered this imaginary play boom. Everything is so creative and a little goofy. I often run from crocidiles, dance for the ball, and live in her house and eat her food. It is a blast!
